I thought hearing you have cancer and a year to live was going to be the hardest thing I have ever gone through. I was wrong. This past year has been one of the most difficult years for our family. We are getting through it, but it has been minute by minute. My life stopped on April 8th, 2023. My boys and lots of friends have made me realize I need to start living again, and I don’t need to feel guilty. I took the last couple of months to think about everything in my life and truly realized the one thing I love most is helping people live better. I am no expert, but I have been through a lot. Since 2011, when I was diagnosed, I have learned that going through grief shows you that love is much greater than any grief. Life is precious, and we have less time on earth than we realize. So live the life you want. Do the things you want to do. Don’t allow people to treat you like crap! This is your life, and the only one responsible for your life is you!

I have poured my heart and soul into sharing my knowledge, my experiences, and my trauma in creating so many tools that I use, or journals I have created. If I don’t start sharing, like I have always wanted to do, my time may run out. I have to stop listening to the people saying “She isn’t qualified” or “Who does she think she is”. I know the items I have learned from experts, and the tools I created for myself will help someone out there that needs it. No matter what you are going through, life is not meant to be hard. No matter what you are facing, you can choose how you want to handle it. No matter what you are doing, someone may be doing it better and may have a tip or tool that will help you tremendously.

When we look at our life, and the essential areas of life, it can easily be put into 8 key areas. To live a full life, we need to ensure these areas are full of love and what we want them to be. I lived what I thought was a full life for many years. I used to think it was cool to be busy, to not have a free moment, kids in a zillion activities and to always be on the run! Since 2011 I have been learning how to live with just the essentials. A life without the clutter and busyness of a life we can't enjoy because we need to work so hard to just keep up! These 8 areas join together to create YOUR ESSENTIAL LIFE.

We are so programmed to want a quick fix: take these pills to lose weight, starve yourself for two weeks to lose 5 lbs. This is about health to live, health to live with a quality of life that you have always wanted. to make small daily health changes, with time, turn into habits that change your health and, ultimately, your life!

There are several components of health we need to balance. Understanding those areas and how to improve on them is important to ensure you are working on the right components for the right results.

It is scary to think that less than 10% of people are visibly pursuing their passion. We all want to live lives of passion, but getting there can be tough.

If you want to wake up every morning energized and ready to set the world on fire by doing what you love, and by turning your passion into a career, it will take hard work. It takes a very strong mindset to trust the process.

Relationships take work, time, consistency, trust, and commitment. Dealing with relationships is one of the most difficult areas in life. It is natural to feel like we just do not have time to invest in all the relationships we want to be healthy. As much as you would love to get to know certain people, or become closer, you feel like you just don’t have the time to invest in another relationship, whether it is family or friends.

The important relationship though is the one with yourself. Having a good relationship with yourself improves your relationships with others as well as gives you insight into your own life.

If you are struggling in any of your relationships, this Beautiful Boundaries Handbook/Journal and Affirmations will help you determine what boundaries you need to set for you different types of relationships.  Setting boundaries is hard, but worth it for your health.

Generally, people like to live a life with meaning and purpose. When these goals are met, it puts harmony in one’s life and the lives of the people they surround themselves with.
